UHMWPE Fiber (LY-35)

We produce UHMWPE fibre for ropes, cut resistant gloves, UD fabric (non- woven cloth) and bulletproof vests; We also have facilities manufacturing bulletproof UD fabric and bulletproof vests.

At present we have UHMWPE fibre of 400D, 500D, 800D, 1000D, 1200D, 1500D, 1600D, 2200D and 3000D.

A. Gloves made from 400D yarn are of soft hand-feel and moisture absorption; It is breathable and has excellent cut resistant performance (Got level 4 by EN388 standard)

B. Yarns of 1500D, 1600D and 2200D are mainly used for making ropes. We have LY-35 series, strength similar to SK75 products.

C. We also produce UHMWPE yarn for bulletproof UD fabric and bulletproof vests. We also have complete plant and machineries manufacturing bulletproof UD fabric (bulletproof vests also available upon request). The bulletproof vest has got level 3 by NIJ standard. The bulletproof vest is of soft hand-feel and has got 3A by NIJ standard.

Here please allow me to briefly say something about SINOPEC Yizheng Chemical Fibre Company Limited and the UHMWPE yarn, which is called BST LYLON yarn. SINOPEC Yizheng Chemical Fibre Company Limited is the largest mordenized manufacturing station of chemical fibre and chemical fibre raw materials in China. China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation ("SINOPEC", 9th in World Top 500) is the current controlling shareholder of the Company.

BST UHMWPE yarn is of high strength, high modulus, low density, abrasion and impact resistance, cut resistance, anti-UV, resistance to water, moisture, fatigue durability and long flexing life, etc.
